[ADVERT] 8DAYS Eat x Wish Dish: Red House Seafood Restaurant

Last night I was invited by 8Days Eat to Red House Seafood Restaurant for a food tasting session, in conjunction with the Make-A-Wish campaign.

The month long October campaign encourages Singapore’s leading restaurants, individuals and communities to get involved and help make a real difference in the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Diners will get the opportunity to do a good deed while enjoying their favourite dish. Participating restaurants will be donating 50% of their chosen “Wish Dish” proceeds to Make-A-Wish Foundation® Singapore for the month of October 2013.





This is the restaurant's Wish Dish, Signature Creamy Custard Prawns, where 50% of the proceeds will go to the Foundation for every order of this dish!

Prawns are best eaten with the hands especially if they are covered in such yummy sauces! :9 Feels so good to lick your fingers at the end of it. I really loved the custard, which is sweet and salty at the same time. Furthermore the taste is strong enough to penetrate through the shell and into the meat:





Red House was nice enough to let us not just try the Wish Dish, but also other dishes to complete our dinner!:

My favourite Mantou (too bad there was only 1 for each person), and Spicy Seafood Combination:



With prawns, squids, fish and scallops. I didn't really like the sauce because it has this pumpkin-ish taste to me:



Sambal Kang Kong, which I had none of haha:



Deluxe Seafood Fried Rice - I really love rice I had 2 bowls of this! Hehe:
