Last Friday @ Stirling Highway for brunch:
They have really special types of teas like Strawberry Kiwi and Sakura Cherry Rose White, and you get to smell all the artisanal tea leaves in the sample tray:
We had Iced Provence (S$4.90) and Iced Ice Wine Tea (S$5.50), both of which are really refreshing and fragrant:
Stirling Brekkie Platter (S$16) - comes with portobello mushrooms, sunny side-ups, sausage, cherry tomatoes, toasts and bacon:
Prawn Pesto Spaghetti (S$16) - with sautéed prawns tossed in a homemade basil spinach pesto. I hesitated to order this initially because it didn't sound appetising to me, but it became my favourite dish out of those we've ordered haha. The prawns are crunchy and the pesto is really yummy!:
Pulled Pork Pancakes (S$14) - generous amount of pulled pork in between 3 layers of thick buttermilk pancakes, served with Jack Daniel's infused maple syrup. This is their signature/most popular dish if I'm not wrong, and I can understand why because it is so special! I've read reviews on how salty the pulled pork was but I find it pretty okay, so they probably did something about it. I love the maple syrup with that hint of whiskey but I find the pancakes a little too dense:
I love the food here and their service is a huge thumbs-up too! :)

And this was last Sunday's brunch @ Nassim Hill Bakery. Was supposed to come here with my #brunchdategirls a looooong time ago when we 1st started cafe-hopping together, but it never happened haha:
Iced Mocha:
Granola & Berries Parfait - with granola, almond, blueberries, raisins and yogurt. I really liked this - not too sour, not too sweet! It looks so pretty too:
Wholemeal Belgian Waffle (S$18) - served with butter and maple syrup, with a choice of beerbeiser sausage/center cut bacon/honey baked ham. The waffles are dusted with icing sugar and they are really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have a pretty distinct difference in taste compared to the usual (buttermilk?) waffles too. The sausage is really flavorful as well:
Steak and Eggs (S$22) - 150gm Angus prime sirloin steak with sunny side-ups. The steak is really yummy especially when dipped into the sauce (I'm not sure what it is, but it tastes like the sauce you get on mashed potatoes! :9), but a pity it's a little thin:
