2 weeks ago at 7 Kickstart for brunch:
Cute beakers for our iced waters:
Iced Ovaltine (S$6) - this tasted like a usual cafe latte without any hint of Ovaltine :(
Popcorn Chicken - with sour plum powder dip which was quite an interesting combination:
Royale Classic Benedict (S$14.90) - poached eggs with caramelised apple yuzu hollandaise sauce atop toasts. Served with smoked salmon, honey baked ham, grilled tomato and greens. For those who cannot decide between salmon and ham hehe:
Liu Sha French Toast (S$12.90) - came here specially for this but it was a disappointment for me. Some parts of the bread were too buttery, the salted egg yolk custard was too thick and sticky for my liking. Overall it got gelak after awhile and the condensed milk didn't work well with the toast:
