Drury Lane has been in my to-go-back list for the longest time since 2013?? Think I've gone back once in between now and then and I remembered liking their pancakes and desserts a lot. The menu has pretty much changed though hahaha but it's still as good! Ooooo.
Banana Bread with Espresso Butter (S$2.50) - so glad this and their chocolate tarts have stayed on because I really loved them! Yeah, it's basically just a normal slice of banana bread but it's the Espresso butter that makes it special. It wasn't too thick or gelat so it was a really enjoyable:
Creamy Salted Egg Yolk Eggs Benedict with Grilled Prawns (S$17) - made up of 3 of my favourite items: prawns, steamed bun (!!!!) and salted egg yolk. Thought it was weird to eat them together so I decided to eat them part by part so as to get the best of each hehehe. Really loved the poached eggs and (even more eggs) sauce combination!!
Crosissant with Smoked Duck Hash (S$17) - this was one of their specials for this weekend. The croissant was thin (I had doubts about it initially hahaha) but very crispy and fragrant. The smoked duck came in juicy chunks and they were a good mix with the potatoes, carrots and red pepper:
Chilli Crab with Kale Pasta (S$16) - came with really generous servings of crab meat, the pasta was done perfectly and the spiciness was just right for me! Wished there was more pasta though....:
