Located in Holland Village on the 2nd level just above Thai Express, MU Parlour can be hard to miss if you're not actually looking out for it. With a really neat and white interior, this quaint little cafe is perfect for brunch and dinner dates :) They serve mainly freshly baked pastries, gourmet burgers and cocktails:
The No. 1 Burger (S$15) - made up of thick juicy beef patty with streaky bacon, and garlic fries at the side. I wouldn't say this dish is really appetising because it tastes pretty normal, maybe like the burgers you find in fast-food restaurants? :/ But one thing about their burger patties is that they are freshly made every morning, and they are only chilled, never frozen!:
Lemon Meringue tart (S$6.50):
Sesame and Passionfruit chocolate tart (S$6.50) - I really love this tart because it's made of dark chocolate! The soury mix of passionfruit (which is infused in the dollop of chocolate ganache) with the bitterness of the chocolate makes this dessert really heavenly:
Flat White (S$4.50) and Cafe Latte (S$4.50): - According the the menu and the staff, MU Parlour's coffeebeans are infused with the aromas of dark chocolate and citrus (subtle hints of orange and kiwi), but somehow I can't taste any of these in the coffee that we ordered :(
And I know nobody probably wears bell-bottoms anymore, but I did anyway just for the kick of it haha:
