Overeasy @ Orchard Liat Towers

It's been so so so long since I had such food posts... was reminded by someone and I kinda miss it so I decided to take some photos the other day!

Friends ask me why I stopped doing it (blogging about food and all), but it really wasn't intentional haha. I started out with food posts BECAUSE my life was all about that - I had time, I cafe hopped a lot and it was truly a hobby so my posts were naturally about my cafe experiences.
But once I started dancing full-time and things got very busy... my lifestyle changed pretty much completely and my interest for cafe food gradually decreased. I still eat a lot, but mostly the normal 'unphotogenic' foods now haha.

Truffle Fries (S$10) - not sure why, but these were one of the better non-shoestring fries for me!:

The Hangover Part IV (S$22) - check out the many many layers made up of (from top to bottom) toasted English muffin, sunny side-up, double-smoked bacon, an ultra thick wagyu patty, heritage ham and rosti. It was a perfect partyyyyy in the mouth:

Glorioussssss:

Grilled Cheese On Crack (S$18) - house braised short ribs, caramelised onion marmalade, brie and fontina in between slices of crispy toasts:

Woooooooo:

Overeasy @ Fullerton Road

Went to OverEasy for lunch yesterday with Ruby and Sheryl. We didn't get to try it the other day because of the haze, so we were back again!:

IBC Rootbeer float (S$10) - the vanilla ice-cream was too sweet and milky:

Caesar Salad with Prawns (S$16 + S$6) - Sheryl got the large bowl and she said the prawns go really well with the salad:

Pancakes, Eggs & Bacon Done Our Way (S$16) - this looks super awesome to me hahaha. Unlike many pancakes which tend to get 'gelat' after awhile, these 3-layered ones with bacon, scrambled eggs and syrup are surprisingly satisfying!:

Eggs Skillet with Bacon, Roasted Potato and Grilled Tomato (S$18) - I love the bacon, sausage, potatoes and tomato, but the poached eggs were a disappointment :( The 2 eggs were cooked to a different level, one being more runny than the other and they both tasted really bland. The sauce used also tastes weird. I should have opted for sunny side-ups instead. Anyway this dish also comes with toasts on the side:

I was really tempted to get the crabmeat Mac & Cheese as well as their XO battered onion rings, but we didn't :(

I Love Taimei! Can't get enough of their Seaweed Tofu Fries:

Went for my 1st ever Contemporary dance Open class at T.H.E last night, and it was so much better than I've expected. Dancing with a class full of people who are so much better really made me push myself further.
