And yes, we wore these ears at the airport hahahahaha people were giving me judging looks while I stood at the arrival hall. One guy beside me even asked his friend (not bothering to whisper): "How come she is wearing the Minnie ears?" His friend replied: "Must have a reason lah!" And the next moment Shane was pushing his trolley of luggages out of the automatic doors, wearing his Mickey ears hahaha. The guys immediately glanced at him, then back at me, but by then I was already making my way towards Shane. And then everyone around us witnessed 2 mice hugging each other so tightly :')
Visited Wimbly Lu with my favourite brunch date girls last Friday! This quaint cafe is not very easy to find w/o private transport because it is located within the private estates between Lorong Chuan and Serangoon. If you're taking the Circle Line, it's gonna be a 10-15-min walk from either station:

Blackout cake (S$6) - this is one the highly recommended desserts there. It's not too sweet/rich in my opinion, so you can actually finish the whole slice w/o feeling gelat(?):
Chocolate Creme Brulee (S$5) - the chocolate top was really good, but the creme brulee underneath was only average, we couldn't really taste it:
Tuna & cheese toasty melts (Single - S$3.50) - just your usual toasts with tuna stuffed inside, but I like it a lot! You'll love it if you love tuna too:
Rootbeer brownie with vanilla ice-cream (S$6) - just how special is this?! Brownie soaked in some rootbeer syrup/sauce thingy instead of the usual chocolate sauce/fudge, gives this brownie such a unique yet appealing taste. But the downside is you cannot choose the ice-cream flavour for this, so if you dislike vanilla (like me), you can ask them to separate the ice-cream from the brownie:
Waffle with butter and maple syrup (S$5):
Crepe ($5) - supposedly comes with butter and maple syrup as well, but I opted for none of them, and instead had my rootbeer brownie together with it. Not bad a combination!:
Molten lava cake (S$6) + salted caramel ice-cream - the lava cake was heavenly!!! - another recommended dessert there. The ice-cream was too salty for Yan and Candice haha, but Jo and I found it just nice:

During my exam period I have been complaining about not being able to cafe-hunt, and now that the holidays are here + Shane is back, I've been visiting cafes almost every single day and I'm gonna complain that it's making me fat :( HAIZZZZ. More food posts coming up soon!
