Sigh pie...

I'm forever injured before something major.

In Sec 3, I fell off while standing on my friend's shoulders and injured my head + tailbone right before SYF. I couldn't walk.
In J2, I fell during training and injured my knee and thigh muscles before a Track&Field competition. I couldn't walk.

This time round I damaged my left foot's soft tissues and pulled a vein because my ankle gave way during dance training. Now I can't walk too, because everytime I exert pressure against the ground my foot hurts like crazy. Dance assessment + TRDO selection's next week, and CNY + my 12km run are in 2 weeks. I want to dance, but I probably can't until a few weeks/months later when I get better.

I really want to stay optimistic but I can't. I really wanna cry :'(

  2. Omg please take care and work on rehab so it can get better faster! Move around don't stay still okay?! Totally know how it feels I always injured myself before competition too :< Get well soon WH!!

    Rest as much as possible and don't exert yourself before your dance and other activities!!

I'm not a dancer myself, but I can understand how you're feeling in a way, cos I've seen 1 of my closest friends, who's in NUS Synergy go through a very long recovery phase (1 year) cos she tore her ACL during dance practice :( But I understand the feeling of getting injured/sick before a major event, I've been through it before too.
