Demoralised

Remember I said I always get injured before something major? Yeah it has happened again. This time during TRDO practice I barrel-jumped and fell flat from mid-air to the ground, bruising the bones of my knees pretty badly. Plus it wasn't even on a proper dance floor. Nothing as major as the previous foot injury because I can still walk/dance, but it's slightly swollen and it's gotta have repercussions when I'm older. And now I've developed this phobia for the jump, and since that fall I've never done a successful one. I don't even remember how to execute it anymore. This is so so disappointing and demoralising. It has never happened before in all the practices, but somehow I failed to do it on Tuesday's training. Why.

TRDO heats are on Saturday morning and I reeeally don't feel confident at all.

  1. Hey, you're in UB-SIM Psych? Can I get some advice from you? What made you chose UB instead of UOW since it's almost 30k more expensive? Rly need your help!

    1. Hey, yes I was in UB-SIM Psych. I actually didn't really consider the fees when I was looking through the different schools haha. I just based it on what appealed most to me. And if I'm not wrong... I enrolled pretty late (after getting local Unis' rejection letters, applying for Lasalle and then rejecting it after that because of parents' disapproval) and the only application left open was UB's..??

Sorry I cannot help much because I wasn't really sure what was my reason for choosing it. I was just adamant about getting into a Psych course and somehow UB's programme appealed to me. UB is more probably more recognised than UoW too? I'm not too sure haha.

    2. Are you enjoying SIM? And is psych very tough? Were you an arts/ science student in JC? Sorry for bombarding you with so many questions!

    3. I'm actually done with my final semester already haha, yes I enjoyed my student life in SIM, though it cannot be compared to the more 'happening' lives my friends had in their local Unis. Psych requires a lot of memory work, but it is manageable for me. I struggled with the biology and history parts though haha.
