Kith Cafe @ Park Mall | Blisshouse Theme Restaurant

Last Sunday's dinner @ Kith Cafe before catching The Big Groove 2013:

Calamari (S$14) - deep fried squid with spicy tomato sauce. Nothing fantastic:

Seared Tuna Salad (S$17) - I really love the spicy soy-sesame seared tuna, but the sesame dressing on the baby spinach is a little too much (you can see how all the leaves are soaked wet) and too salty for me. Nevertheless it tastes pretty good:

Marinara (S$20) - linguine with prawns, mussels, fish and squid tossed in garlic, tomato and white wine. I've always loved Kith Cafe's pastas (but I've friends who think otherwise), plus the portion is really huge too. I was frantically searching for my clams because all I see were empty clam shells without the meat, and I was told that the pasta is actually cooked together with the clams so the shells are just for decoration purposes. Hmmmm weird, but okay:

Hotdog (S$12) - consists of smoked bratwurst with cheddar, caramelised onion, bacon and mustard in a bun. The mustard's a little too overwhelming that it covers up the tastes of the bacon and onions. Also comes with salad (which has no dressing hence really dry) and a poached egg at the side:

My OOTD for TBG!:

And this was Thursday's brunch with Sheryl and Ruby @ Blisshouse Theme Restaurant. Really love how pretty and fantasy-like this whole place looks! I felt like I was eating in a huge garden within a fairytale hehe:

Capellini Prawns (S$24) - angel hair pasta with prawns, white wine, garlic, cherry tomato, pine nuts, chili, basil and arugula. This looks good but tastes so-so only, a little too bland for our liking:

Margherita Pizza (S$16) - a thin-crust pizza with tomato sauce, basil, oregano & shredded mozzarella. Plain and good!:

Seafood Paella (S$36) - spanish rice with chorizo, prawns, squid, mussels, clams and scallop served in a pan. WE LOOOOOVVEE this!! :D The rice is really fragrant and it has the right amount of stickiness and wetness. We were actually expecting a much bigger pan for that price, but the portion's actually fit for 1-1.5 persons only :(
