Habitat Coffee @ Upper Thomson Road

This was last Saturday's belated Xmas gathering with some of my #brunchdategirls! So thankful for a bunch of girls who enjoy cafe-hopping with me :)

Hello Truffle (S$8) - home-seasoned truffle fries dressed with fine grated parmesan - one of the highly raved Starters here. I loved these, but my friends thought the fries are too salty:

Eggs Benedict (S$12) - poached eggs and honey baked ham on sundried tomato bread, topped with homemade hollandaise sauce. I loved how they use a different kind of bread as compared to the usual plain brioches/toasts, there are raisins in them too:

The Big Ben (S$14) - consists of scrambled eggs and honey baked ham on English fluff, 100gm chicken sausage (really juicy and cheesy!), grilled tomato and mini potato pancakes (these are yummy too):

Ocean Linguine (S$16) - grounded black pepper seafood aglio olio tossed with white wine:

Apple Cinnamon Pancakes (S$10) - pancakes, fresh caramelised apples tossed with cinnamon, black raisins and topped with walnuts. The apples are really crunchy and there isn't too much maple syrup so the whole dish actually isn't as sweet as it looks! The raisins are a little dry though, plus they look/taste more like prunes to me lol:

We were supposed to be dressed in a Christmas-themed outfit (yeah we always have themes when we go out hahaha), so guess what I was dressed as??:

A snowman (without a carrot nose) hahahaha.

Anyway, I think prices here are really reasonable + food's really decent! Plus there aren't GST and service charges too.
