[ADVERT] ABC Cooking Studio @ Takashimaya

Japan's popular cooking school, ABC Cooking Studio has opened its doors on Friday (24th April) @ Takashimaya Shopping Centre. It currently has 134 studios in Japan and 14 studios in Asia, but this is their very first branch in SEA!

I had the opportunity to attend their media preview, where I got brought Amelyn with me to have a trial cooking session with them! :)







We were a little early for the session and here's Amelyn sneaking shots of me:

And it was our turn! So exciteddddd. We were taught to bake Gateau au chocolat, which is basically chocolate cake:







At ABC Cooking Studio, class sizes are small with an instructor-student ratio of 1:4. Students get to do everything by themselves so as to enjoy the full experience of making every dish.

You can choose to eat your final product at their dining section if you wish to!


The Singapore studio offers 5 courses: Cooking Course (Jap & International cuisine), Bread Course, Cake Course, Kids Course and Wagashi (Jap desserts) Course. Students will start from the Basic course and make their way up to Master course. Upon completion, they can apply for an examination to obtain a license.

Multiple lessons are available per day, students have the flexibility to choose their instructors, class timings and well as menus.

Single lessons are available for new customers at S$48 (but at only S$35 upon 'liking' ABC Cooking Studio Singapore's offical FB page!).
