Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows - this is too milky for my liking :( It's so hard to find places with really chocolately hot chocolates that doesn't end up tasting like normal chocolate milk:
Smoked Salmon Aglio Olio (S$18) - with fresh herbs and sundried tomatoes. The smoked salmon portion is very generous; there are about 6-8 huge yummy slices atop the pasta. The spaghetti's really well cooked with a slight bouncy texture, and the lightness of it complements the saltiness of the salmon :
Full Monty (S$16) - original flapjacks with pastrami, chipolatas, turkey bacon, mozzarella, double sunny side-up eggs, baked beans and mashed potato on the side. A really filling dish that I've been ordering every single time I go there haha but it isn't as good as I've first tried. The bacon's too salty and the mozzarella is just a harderned dollop in the centre of one of the pancakes. I still loved the mashed potato though!:
Monaco (S$19) - zucchini & onion pancakes with grilled herbed lamb shoulders (250gm), mashed potatoes and yogurt mint sauce. The onion pancakes are a refreshing experience with the zucchinis providing mild sweetness to it. The yogurt mint sauce goes really well with the lamb! I couldn't really take the medium-rareness of the lamb though, and it wasn't recommended to have it well-done:
