Little Diner @ Bukit Timah Road | Smoulder

Brunch-ed at Little Diner with Shane last Saturday:

Hot Cappuccino (S$4.90):

Steak & Eggs (S$24.50) - steak, sunny side-ups, thick toasts, homefries and salad:

Delancey Red Velvet Pancakes (S$13.50) - Chef's Special! Comes with cream cheese frosting and maple syrup on the side:

Homefries (S$3.50) - we ordered this because we couldn't get enough of the ones in Steak & Eggs! But the portion's a litte too big haha:

We love the food and ambience here + the staff are really really friendly and helpful too ^^

Went to Smoulder after school with Windy on Monday! We took ultra long to find this place hahaha because we thought it was a cafe along the streets:

We bought 9 (for S$25) of them! Hahahaha painfully sinful omg. My favourites are all the Dark Chocolate ones (Intense dark, Signature dark and the CNY special Dark chocolate + Pineapple), and Pistachio!:

Met TY, Bev and Siti for dinner afterwards at P.S. Cafe and then met Claudine for supper! I love my friends and I love catch-up sessions ^^

--------------------------------------------------

Went to the Sinseh on Wed morning for acupuncture and was told that I need at least 3 months to fully recover to dance again. I really didn't know how to feel I just broke down in the room. I know I should be glad that things aren't worse than this, but a few months is still too long for me to wait. There are too many events happening in this year I need to get well asap. Mum bought crutches for me because I still couldn't walk independently and because I really don't want to rely too much on anyone. Went to school after that and bumped into Ruby and my dance friend Jane and I cried again because I thought of how I can't dance with them for awhile. Omg I'm such a crybaby. But I am thankful, really thankful for every single person who've shown me some form of support :')

On a lighter note, after 4 years of working in Haagen-Dazs I finally got a new job at Five & Dime! ^^ Was supposed to start work next week but thanks to my leg I gotta push everything back sigh. Anyway I'm really looking forward to it even though the location's a little far off for me haha. I hope everything will get better from now on :)
Happy February everyone!

  2. No worries girl, 3 months will pass quickly and you can dance again. Use this 3 months to take a breather and try other new activities (that doesn't require too much use of the legs). :)

Next time when I go to Five & Dime, I might see you. :D

    1. But I'm graduating in 4 months' time and it's gonna suck if I don't participate in any of the upcoming school activities :( Oh well, sincerely hope I can recover sooner than that!!!! Fingers crossed.

Hehehe yesyes I'll see you when I see you then! ^^

    1. Haha because I've never planned to work full-time (but yeah, I know I have to). I'll probably only start looking for jobs in August/Dec... I want to take a good break before committing to a full-time job! Because working life is not gonna stop after that :(

      And thank you! :)

    2. At least you've laid out a timeline as to what you intend to do. That's better than nothing i suppose :) but to be honest, my friend did just that.. and she just told me recently that she regretted not looking for a job earlier.. Said it was much tougher looking for a job than she thought..

    3. Haha yeah I know it's gonna be damn hard. I have friends who are having trouble looking for one too.
But I still have no idea what I wanna do in the future, and I really don't wish to just settle for some available job even if it pays high. So.... I'm just gonna see how it goes after I'm done with Uni! Haha. But thanks for the heads-up :)
