Table Manners @ Changi City Point | Cake Spade

Because I haven't been cafe-hunting in awhile, I just had to strike something off my To-Go list on Monday. So here we were for lunch, at Table Manners! I never knew a shopping centre actually existed at Expo station:

They have this cute napkin thingy that you can tuck under your collar hehe. I tried it on but I looked funny so no pictures here hahaha:

You can customise your lunch using the different à la carte combinations (e.g., For Set A, pick 3 items from the Fibre section, and for Set B, pick 2 from the Fibre section and 1 from the Protein section), or opt for the Waiter's Choice (which we did) where they've already picked the different items from the respective sections.

Fresh Orange juice (S$5.50) - according to the menu, there are about 5-6 oranges in this glass. You can add the juice on to your set lunch for just $4:

Cappuccino (S$5) - (which was added on to the set for $3):

Truffle Fries (S$3.50):

Waiter's Choice Set C - Meat Lover (S$17) - consists of buttered mashed potato, pork sausage (which is really juicy) and NZ Angus sirloin steak:

Waiter's Choice Set D - Big Platter (S$19.50) - made up of spicy spaghetti aglio olio, grilled asparagus, breaded pork cutlet (yum!) and sauteed mussels with buttered white wine cream sauce. I think this set is really worth the price because everything here tastes sooo good:

Lemon & Lime tart with Strawberries (S$6.50) - we love this tart! Windy said it's the best lemon tart he's ever tasted hahaha. The crust is soft (but not soggy) and yummy. The lemon + lime mixture blends really well too; neither one of them overpowered the other. Too bad the portion's a little too small!:

Food here's generally delicious! I saw a customer's Chicken Leg which looks so mouth-watering too omg.
We went during the office lunch hours which means the cafe was really packed. The tables are mostly (if not all) communal tables so it can get pretty awkward if you're uncomfortable with seating so near to a stranger.

We wanted more desserts but the bakery that I wanted to go is closed on Mondays, so we headed to Cake Spade instead:

Blueberry White Tea (S$3.80):

Oreo Biscuit Brownie (S$3.20):

Peach Tofu Cheesecake (S$5.50) - their bestseller (together with the Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake)! There isn't really tofu inside, just that the texture feels like it - really smooth, silky and it kinda melts in the mouth. I really love how they used digestive biscuits for the crust too:
