Chye Seng Huat Hardware @ Tyrwhitt Road

Met up with my Brunch Date girls (missing Bev and Shuwei) for brunch @ Chye Seng Huat on Wednesday! This place is known for their coffee but sadly I wasn't in the mood for any that day haha.

From the exterior it looks like it's not in operation. If I'm the wrong the doors are fake, the main entrance's the huge grey gate that's right beside this:













Blinis with Cream Cheese & Smoked Salmon (S$12) - thin slices of pancakes topped with smoked salmon and cream cheese:





Black Pepper Pork Chop ($S16) - the pork chop's really good, I loved the mashed potato that comes along with it too. A pity the portion's a little too small; there isn't much meat:



French Toast with Butterscotch sauce and Bananas (S$11) - brioche bread drizzled with butterscotch sauce, served with bananas and almonds at the side:

Brought them to Windowsill in the Woods for some desserts (+ celebrate Yanning's bday) after that, which is just around the corner. We had pies and these awesome burgers/fried kong ba baos (those who have seen my Instagram should know) which I couldn't stop raving about hahaha. They were soooooo good :9
