W39 Bistro & Bakery

Had brunch at W39 last Sunday and we made it just in time for their breakfast menu yayyy!:

Handmade Meatballs (S$8) - 5 beef & chicken meatballs which we gobbled up in a few minutes haha:

Braised Pork Cheeks Gruyere Panini (S$13) - This looked really simple and bland initially, but I was proven wrong when I bit into it. I love love love the bread!! It's so soft yet crispy at the same time, plus it tastes really good too :9 And of course, you can never go wrong with braised pork cheeks:

Eggs Benedict (S$9) - poached eggs on ham and toasts with hollandaise sauce:

Hearty Breakfast (S$13.50) - made up of sunny side-ups, bacon, sausage (YUMZZ), mushrooms (YUMZZZ too), toast and salad:

Mister Chocolate Cake (S$6.80) - I was a little disappointed with this cos I thought (and it actually looks like) it'd be really chocolatey, but it tastes more like gula melaka to me :/

So happy to have found another good cafe in the West, and prices are so affordable too! (Y)

  1. The food at W39 is pretty cheap for a cafe eh!! :D Rare to find eggs Benedict that costs $9! This is an awesome find, my boyfriend and I have always felt that the west side should have more good eats/cafes! :D
