[ADVERT] TART @ The Star Vista | Black Hair Salon

TART has recently opened in The Star Vista and I was glad to be invited to taste their pretty desserts earlier this month! Brought Candice along to try them out with me :)

The Star Vista has changed so much since the last time I went there; the 2nd level is filled with tons of food stores now, with TART being one of them:





Such a cosy little shop and I love their pretty garden theme!:













Mango Peach (S$3.90) and Strawberry Banana (S$3.90) Fruit Crushes - made from fresh fruits blended with ice, very very refreshing for the hot Singapore weather:





"Best known for their specialty tarts that come in two main ranges – creamy and fruity, an evident differentiation in the taste of their products lie in the specially formulated recipe prepared by the owners themselves."
Of course we had to try them ourselves! We had 8 Mini Tarts (S$4.50/box of 3) - Black Sesame, Cookies & Cream, Coffee, Berries, Matcha Azuki, Peanut Butter, Blueberry Cream Cheese and Chocolate.
The tarts are generally really yummy (and pretty-looking too!), with the cream smooth and dense while the base is cookie-like and crunchy. My favourites are Coffee, Black Sesame, Matcha Azuki and Peanut Butter!

My floral romper (c/o @ashincans) fitted their shop's theme perfectly hahaha. It wasn't intentional:



Blueberry Cream Cheese Slice (S$6.90) - the bigger version of the Mini Tart, with layers of cream cheese and blueberries. My favourite dessert of that day, it is of the right sweetness and the texture is dense and silky. The ratio of cream cheese to blueberries is also just nice so they don't overpower each other. I really really love the tart base!:



Chocolate Oreo Slice (S$6.90) - this is the hot favourite among teenagers, we were told by the owners Daryl and Wendy. I love the Oreo bits but we find the cake too rich and heaty overall. It'd probably be good for sharing among 3-4 people:











Also at TART, there's no GST & service charge + they provide free Wifi! How great is that? ;)

Made a trip down to Black Hair Salon after that to touch up on my purple hair, and also added a few red streaks to it! I got a darker base colour as well:
