[ADVERT] MEATliquor @ Duxton Street

Good Friday's tasting @ MEATliquor! Headed down here right after our visit to the railway tracks (previous post):

(left) Plum-dog Billionaire (S$20) - made up of white rum, sour plum and fresh lemon. Served with a sour plum powder rim.
(right) Salted Caramel Burbon Milkshake - their milkshakes are off the menu, but you can request them from the servers! I'm not really a drinker so the bourbon was too overpowering for me... should have stuck to my initial choice of Milo milkshake haha:

Every table will be served with their food on a huge tray like this!:

Monkey Fingers (S$18) - battered chicken fillets coated in house-made hot pepper sauce, served with blue cheese dip.
These didn't look very appetising but they were really addictive! For me, at least. Windy thought the sauce was too sour. If you like the kind of sauce that is used on Buffalo Wings - hot and sour, you'll probably like this too! The fillets were really tender as well :D

Dead Hippie (S$22) - one of their recommended burgers, this came with 2 thin mustard-fried beef patties, dead hippie sauce (which is their secret recipe), lettuce, cheese, pickles and minced white onions.
Surprisingly this was pretty mild - idk, I was preparing for something crazy because of the name - and pleasant on the tastebuds. Nothing too overpowering; I liked it!:

Bacon Cheeseburger (S$23) - with beef patty, cheese (which I went w/o), bacon, red onions, pickles, lettuce, mustard and ketchup.
A bite of it reminded me of a bigger and juicier version of Macdonald's burgers oops. I think it's the pickles-lettuce-ketchup combination, which was not entirely bad, but nothing very interesting about it:

Then we had Neh Neh Pops for desserts! Have been wanting to try them because they always looked so appealing in photos:

Sneekers (S$9) - made up of peanut butter ice-cream, caramel centre, dark chocolate coated dip, topped with toasted marshmallows and salted pretzels:

Strawberry Pockie (S$9) - strawberry ripple ice-cream, white chocolate coated dip, topped with Strawberry Pocky.
Was quite disappointed with this as I was expecting it to taste like the $1 raspberry ripple ice-cream (but strawberry version), but it tasted more like pure Vanilla which I didn't like :(

And the popsicles were rock hard even after leaving it for 10 minutes, making it not very enjoyable.
