Exxon Mobil Campus Concerts: Bon Voyage! BY NUS Bravissimo

Hello all! I'm finally here to update with some dance photos ^^
~4 Wednesdays ago (22nd August) a few of us from DanceArt collaborated with dancers from NUS Bravissimo to put up a Burlesque item for their concert @ UCC. It was all our first times doing this genre but I'm so proud that we managed to improve and put up a pretty good item despite only about less than 15 practices/rehearsals?

It's................ SHOWTIME! (credits to photographer Cai Dingyan):

Sigh I have this really constipated smile during the 2nd song:

And here's for a good laugh (my friends have been laughing at this on FB for ever since the photographer posted it up :()

After the concert, with our wonderful choreographer Zee!:

And these are my very supportive Dancesport friends:

Of course not forgetting our Stage Manager, Director and almost everything else, Peter! :D

After the concert I've been having recurrent nightmares of this item hahaha. Anyway can't wait to put up this item again for SIM Open House + Student Week ^^ Catch us on 22nd and 24-26th Sept in school! xx

  1. Your smile wasn't constipated, and you look gorgeous and sexy in all the pictures. The rest look very good too! Have to thank them for looking after you (Nat's bf sending you back etc) while I am in Buffalo... Miss you so much and love you always... Happy 8th monthsary (Sg time)!

    1. I'll just tell you how I did my eyes k! I applied a black liquid eyeliner first to define the upper lids, then I applied white eyeshadow to act as the base+highlighter. I flicked the ends up (like how people usually draw the 'wing' of their eyeliner) so that it gives a wavy shape. The white portion is drawn all the way up till near the eyebrows. Then I applied a light blue eyeshadow over it, following the same shape but only on the area of the eye sockets (means I didn't go all the way up, still leaving a portion of white visible). I did the same with a much darker shade of blue - a shade very near black - and went over the light blue eyeshadow. Next, I used a black crayon eyeliner (which was much darker than eyeshadow) to draw a dark line over the eye sockets so it gives an illusion of a crease/deep-set eyes. Lastly, I blended the crayon eyeliner with more dark blue/black eyeshadow so they looked more natural. I touched up the liquid eyeliner after that and added it on my bottom lids as well, and ended off with my fake eyelashes! :)

Hope I was clear enough in my description, and thank you :D
